I bought a jar of natural pb with flax seed and wanted to try making it myself. I was VERY pleased with the results I am not a pb fan but THIS was very much to MY liking. Since this is not as thick as commercial pb a little goes a long way.The recipe makes a total of half of a cup... 1 Tbsp covered a rice cake so my serving size suggestion is 1 tbsp.

Here is how you make Honey Roasted Peanut Butter with Flaxseed:

Put all ingredients in food processor and process until SMOOTH. (will be a little grainy because of the flaxseed) If you prefer CRUNCHY : chop peanuts first remove half BEFORE adding the rest of the ingredients then process until smooth . Next add the reserved peanuts and just stir them in. Store it in a clean mason jar. Refrigerate leftovers. Oil may separate this is normal just stir before serving.
