Cook the broccoli tops in boiling water for about 5 minutes, then drain. While the broccoli cooks, cook the pasta "al dente" according to package directions.Pour oil and butter into a deep frying pan and heat over low heat. While the butter melts, add the garlic (it should be chopped up). Cook for 5 minutes then add the broccoli to the garlic mix.Drain the pasta and add to the broccoli.
