What Are The Ingredients For Chickpea Patties Recipe?

The ingredients for Chickpea Patties are:

2 cups cooked chickpeas, or one 15 oz can, drained, rinsed and mixed with a spritz of fresh lemon juice.
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tsp. paprika (I used Cayanne)
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. ground coriander
2 tsp. minced garlic (I used fresh and minced myself)
1 tsp. minced fresh ginger
3 tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
2 tbs. freshly squeezed lemon juice
2.5 cups cooked brown basmati rice (I used 10 min brown rice)
1 whole red bell pepper finely diced
1/4 cup looslely packed minced, fresh flat-leaf parsley.


Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine chickpeas, salt, turmeric, paprika, cumin, coriander, garlic, ginger, olive oil and lemon juice in a food processor and process until smooth and well combined, scraping sides occasionally. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in rice, bell pepper and parsley.

Moisten your hands to keep the mixture from sticking, then shape the mixture into 1/4-inch-thick patties about 2.5 inches in diameter. Place them on the prepared pan and bake for 22 to 25 minutes, until the patties start to get dry and crisp on the outside. They will firm up as they cool.

* I served mine on wheat rolls, but you can use whatever you like to serve them in or with.
