What Are The Ingredients For Cinnamon Raisin Bagels Recipe?The ingredients for Cinnamon Raisin Bagels are: -2 Cups Bread Flour -1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour (for dusting/kneading) - 1/2 Tbsp Canola Oil - Honey, 2 tbsp (plus a little more to add to boiling water) - 1tsp Yeast - 3/4-1 Cup Warm water - 1 small box raisins - 2 tsp ground Cinnamon How Do I Make Cinnamon Raisin Bagels?Here is how you make Cinnamon Raisin Bagels: Mix the bread flour, cinnamon, yeast, oil, honey, raisins and water in a large bowl. Combine as much as possible.Place dough even if not fully combined on a floured surface (use whole wheat flour here, you can also use all purpose or more bread flour). Knead for approx. 10 minutes. But dough into 6 equal size pieces (or more if you want smaller bagels). Form in balls and poke a hole in the center with your thumb to make a bagel shape. Lay bagels on a greased baking sheet. Allow to rest for 20 minutes or more. In the meantime, boil a large pot of water add some honey or sugar (a tbsp is plenty) and some baking soda if you'd like (this is supposed to make the bagel crustier on the outside?). Drop bagels in boiling water, boil for 1 minute on each side. use a slotted spoon to remove the bagels and shake them off. Place them back on the baking sheet and allow to sit for a few minutes while the oven heats up. You can do an egg wash if you'd like them to be more goldenPre-heat the oven to 425F. Bake for about 20 minutes. (I do about 22 since my oven isn't too strong).Allow to cool and enjoy!
