How Long Does Marinated Coleslaw Recipe Take To Cook?Marinated Coleslaw takes 10 minutes to cook. How Many Servings Does Marinated Coleslaw Recipe Make?Marinated Coleslaw makes 15 servings. What Are The Ingredients For Marinated Coleslaw Recipe? The ingredients for Marinated Coleslaw are: 2 heads of cabbage finely shredded (I like to use the preshredded bags of the white cabbage, NO CARROTS, just the plain cabbage to save time sometimes)1 whole onion finely diced 1 whole green pepper finely diced 1 cup of apple cider vinegar 1/2 cup of vegetable oil 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tablespoons celery seed 1/2 tablespoon of salt (could add or subtract here to your personal taste) How Do I Make Marinated Coleslaw? Here is how you make Marinated Coleslaw: In a large tupper ware containter combine cabbage, onion, and green pepper. In a small sauce pan heat up vinegar, oil, sugar, celery seed, and salt. Heat until hot, but be careful not to over do it or it could turn to candy. DO NOT TASTE THIS AT THIS POINT. You will think it needs more vinegar as the oil flavor will be overwhelming, but TRUST me, the vingegar flavor will be strong when it has time to marinate. Pour the hot marinade over the cabbage. Stir combining well. Stir every hour. COuld be served after two hours of marinating, but it is always BEST the next day!Serving Size: Makes 15 1/2 cup servingsNumber of Servings: 15Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user DOWN2MINI.What's The Nutritional Info For Marinated Coleslaw? The nutritional information for Marinated Coleslaw is:
