Pour water off before adding dried fruit to batter (water can be reserved for later in case batter is too dry). Combine flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.In a separate bowl, combine apple sauce* and vanilla extract, beat in eggs, stir in oats, stir in flour (with spices and baking soda). *(Note that apple sauce is a healthy substitution for oil. It has a lot less fat and calories than oil and works well in this recipe. You can still, of course, use oil instead of apple sauce or a combination of the two).Fold in cranberries and raisins.Fold in frozen blueberries.Add warm water if batter is still dry.Spread batter evenly into greased and floured baking dish.Sprinkle raw oats on top.Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.Cut into 24 pieces.
