What Are The Ingredients For Granola Bars Recipe?The ingredients for Granola Bars are: Dry ingredients:4 cups Rolled Oats 1 cup Sunflower Seeds 2 cups raw unsalted Almonds (busted after measured) 1/4 cup Wheat Germ 1/4 cup Flax seed (after measured, grind in coffee grinder) 1.25 oz. Sesame Seeds 1 tsp. cinnamon Wet Ingredients: 1 cup Honey 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar Packed 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter 4 tsp. Vanilla extract 1 tsp. Kosher Salt 12 to 14 oz. dried fruit of choice. How Do I Make Granola Bars?Here is how you make Granola Bars: Spread all the dry ingredients on cookie sheet to bake. In an oven preheated to 350, bake gently tossing every 5 minutes until 15 minutes has passed. Take out. In a large pan, combine all 'wet' or honey, brown sugar, butter, vanilla, salt. Heat on med. heat until brown sugar is dissolved. Pour dry baked ingredients into large pan with 'wet', add dried fruit. Mix until all oats, etc. are coated with honey mixture. Pour into a buttered or sprayed 9 x 13 cake pan. Take a same size as pan piece of plastic wrap and put over pan. Press firmly down with spatula or your hand. This WILL be hot, so be careful. The plastic wrap is so the mixture won't stick to your fingers or spatula. Once firmly flattened, bake at 300 degrees for 25 minutes. Once cool, loosen sides, turn upside down until it comes out. Cut into bars. Store in fridge to help keep firm.
