1 cup fresh basil leaves, torn or shredded (about 20 leaves)
1 shallot, thinly sliced
1 cup frozen peas
1/4 pound prosciutto, chopped or shredded

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and salt it. Cook the bow ties al dente. ***Heads up: you will need a couple of ladles full of pasta water later on!!Halve each stalk of asparagus lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 2-inch pieces. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the EVOO. Saut? the garlic and shallot for two minutes. Then add the asparagus and cook for 5 minutes. Add the pasta water, drained pasta and the cheese. Add the peas and prosciutto as you toss. The peas will heat through quickly.
