Let soak for approx 8 hrs.*I usually do this when I go to bed.*3.Drain the beans in a colander. *Some people save the liquid. I don't.* Put the beans back into the pot and cover with water. *I don't add any flavorings because I can add the spices I want later.*4. Bring the beans to a boil. Cover and simmer for approx 4-6 hrs. Test beans for doneness.5. Let the beans cool. Section into 2c. containers.
