Here is how you make Homemade Peppermint-Walnut Pesto:

blend the herbs, nuts, garlic and cheese in a food processor. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Then add about 5-7 Tbsp of Olive Oil until the pesto has a creamy yet spreadable texture. Fill in a glass and cover with another Tbs or two of Olive Oil.You need to do that, so the Pesto can be stored without spoiling too soon. If the pesto is covered entirely with olive oil, it can be stored in the fridge for a little while.
