Prepare lasagna noodles according to package directions. In a medium bowl, beat the egg and mix well with ricotta, garlic, oregano, and basil. When noodles are cooked, rinse well with cold water and drain.Meanwhile, spread a small amount of marinara sauce in the bottom of a 15 x 9 Pyrex baking dish. Spread 3 lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread half the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles. Then spread 1/3 of the marinara on top of the noodles. Create another layer of noodles, the remaining ricotta, and another 1/3 of the sauce. Layer on the last three noodles and the remaining sauce, then top with the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
