Dijon Mustard 1/2 tsp. dried thyme Dash of hot pepper sauce 1 C. toasted pecans, finely chopped How Do I Make Toasted-Pecan and Mushroom Burgers?Here is how you make Toasted-Pecan and Mushroom Burgers: Makes 6 servingsPreheat oven to 400F. Crumble tofu with a fork. Place between paper towels to drain.Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion, carrot and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook, stirring occasionally, until most of the moisture evaporates. Add sherry; cook, stirring occasionally, until moisture evaporates. Cool slightly.In a food processor, combine tofu, veggie mixture, ketchup, mustard, thyme, salt, hot pepper sauce and pecans.
