Saute onions, stirring occasionally until they are a caramel color - approximately 15-20 minutes.While onions are cooking prepare mushroom caps by removing the stem. Lightly spray with an olive oil mist (or cooking spray) on both sides. Sprinkle evenly with steak seasoning and place gill sides down onto a shallow baking dish or baking sheet with sides.
