Heat extra light olive oil in a deep saucepan and saute tomatoes over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until they break down and start to become "saucy". Add beans, sugar, salt, Italian seasoning, pepper and cook for another 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium low and add basil, garlic and zucchini, stir gently and cover.
