-Scallions (1 or 2 stalks, chopped)

Here is how you make Brussels Sprouts with Pasta:

Boil salted water for spaghetti; add and cook, drain when cookd to your liking. Drain, reserving some of the pasta water.Meanwhile, melt butter in pan over medium heat. When hot, add halved brussels sprouts, cut side down. Leave for 5-6 minutes, until edges have browned. Add tomato paste, and stir until incorporated and tomatoes are cooked. DO NOT OVERCOOK SPROUTS.Add cooked pasta to pan, along with scallions, parsley, and squeeze of lemon if desired. Toss, adding some pasta water if necessary.
