Here is how you make Vegan Shepherds' Pie:

Boil potatoes and sweet potato in vegetable broth. When done, reserve 1 c of potato water. Mash with garlic almond milk 2 /tbsp mustard, 3 tbsp thyme and 1/2 tsp pepper. salt to taste.Mushroom and gravy - put 1/3 c onions, mushrooms and veggie ground into sauce pan. Add 1 c of reserved water from potatoes. add wine. sprinkle cornstarch on top, add 1 Tbsp mustard, soy sauce and pepper, salt to taste.
