3 Tbs. Granulated Sugar
1 3/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
1 Cup (about 1/2 can) Canned Pumpkin
2 lg. Eggs
1 1/2 Cup Buttermilk*
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1 medium Apple diced into very small pieces

* I used powdered Buttermilk, and add water to the mixture. Powdered buttermilk can be purchased at most large grocery stores and keeps for several months in the refrigerator after opening and is more convenient than liquid buttermilk if you don't use it often.
