Sriracha HOT Chili Sauce, 1 tbsp
Seasalt or Mushroom Seasoning, 1 tsp
Agave Nectar, 1 tbsp
Cumin, ground, .5 tsp


How Do I Make Grilled Veggies + Quinoa?

Here is how you make Grilled Veggies + Quinoa:

1. Wash, then combine 1.5 cup of quinoa w/ 3 cups of boiling water. Season with .5 tsp of sea salt or Po Lo Ku mushroom seasoning. Po Lo Ku mushroom seasoning is a mysterious yet, highly effective ingredient my Vietnamese mother has been using for the past decade. It produces a nice umami flavor and is used in place of MSG. 2. While quinoa is cooking (approx. 30 min), start washing your veggies and then slice however you like, this is what I personally prefer: oyster mushrooms picked right off, zucchini in thin vertical slices, grape tomatoes halved, red bell pepper in thin long strips, onions sliced half rounds, garlic smashed and roughly chopped, parsley roughly chopped.3. On your grill, oil up your pan/ sheet w/ 1 tsp of olive oil. Toss in the garlic, onions, tomatoes, and a pinch of salt. Let it get really nice and sweaty for 3-5 min. Then toss in all veggies- though not the other herbs or acids! Let it get really smokey and yum yums.4. When grilling is done, toss it with the quinoa, fresh parsley, agave, cumin, olive oil, and lemon juice. Sriricha HOT sauce is so, so good and is never just an option, as it is a resolution, but if you can't take the heat, then I guess it can be just...optional. 5.
