Green Leaf Lettuce - 1 cup
1 roma tomato cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 cup green bell pepper
4 black olives
2 Tbsp fat free sour cream
1/4 cup canned black beans
1 Tbsp red taco sauce (I prefer Medium, but you can use mild or hot as well)
1 ounce Cheddar Cheese


How Do I Make Black Bean Taco Salad?

Here is how you make Black Bean Taco Salad:

Combine lettuce, tomato, green pepper, and olives as you would any other salad. Rinse and Drain black beans. Mix black beans with taco sauce and heat, I heat it in a small pan on the stove but you could do it in a microwave. Once beans are warm, put on top of salad and top with fat free sour cream and cheddar cheese.Makes 1 servingNote: to make enough beans for a family, use one can of black beans to 1/2 bottle of red taco sauce.
