Chili powder, 1 tbsp

This can literally be done in 10 minutes. You can chop the green onion, red pepper, and cilantro (and fresh garlic if you choose to do that) while the couscous is cooking (according to package, usually 1 cup couscous, 1 1/4 cup water, butter; boil water, then add couscous and butter and simmer 8 minutes).I had frozen corn that I thawed 2 minutes in the microwave. I added drained and rinsed canned beans. Mix in the red pepper, green onion, cilantro, and garlic. Add the olive oil and lemon juice. Season with seasonings by recipe or to taste. I would next time try it with jalapenos. We also talked about trying some fresh arugula or spinach with it.
