salt & pepper freshly ground
1 1/2 cups vegetable stock
1/3 apricot jam
1/3 cup almond butter
1 TBSP lemon juice
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Here is how you make South African Slow-Cooked Bobotie:

* Heat oil in large skillet over med heat. Add onion, cover & cook until softened, about 5 min. Add curry powder, stirring to coat.* Transfer onion mix to 3 1/2- 4 qt slow cooker. Add burger crumbles, bread cubes and apricots. Season with salt & pepper & stir to combine.*In blender or food processor, combine the stock, jam, almond butter and lemon juice, process well.
