Here is how you make Healthy Just-Like-Campbell's Bean with Bacon Soup:

Fry bacon in pan you will cook soup in. Remove bacon from pot. In the bacon grease, add carrots, celery and onion. Cook over medium heat until soft about 5-7 minues. Then add beans, broth, water and bay leaves. You can cook as long as you like on low. But in a pinch, about 30 minutes will do. Add chopped bacon and tomato paste to sauce to get desired thickness. Let simmer another 20 minutes or so. Just before serving, use an immersion blender to blend half of the soup.
