Barley

1 can of each:
Pinto Beans
Potatoes
Great Northern Beans
Black Beans
Tomato Paste
Peas
Green Beans
White Beans
Soybeans
Butter Beans
Spinach
Carrots

2 cans of:
Hunt's Organic Basil, Garlic and Oregano Seasoned Diced Tomatoes (these are necessary, they add flavor and spices)
and 2 cans of:
Corn


How Do I Make My Wonderful Vegetable Barley Soup?

Here is how you make My Wonderful Vegetable Barley Soup:

First, start cooking the barley in a separate pot. (It will take around an hour to cook thoroughly.)Next, add all cans of vegetables (UNdrained) into a large stock pot on low-medium (mostly on the low side) heat. DO NOT add the tomato paste yet.About twenty- thirty minutes later, the contents in the stock pot will be sufficiently heated enough to mix in tomato paste. Start adding seasonings to flavor about 15 minutes before the barley is finished cooking. I usually add Oregano, Garlic, Basil, salt, and Italian Seasoning, but others can be added if wanted.When the barley has finished cooking, pour all of the pan's contents (including the water) into the stock pot of soup. Stir.Keep seasoning to taste, and then it is finished.This soup can be served as a thick hearty soup, or water can be added to make it more soupy.
