Prepare the ditalini or small pasta, stopping when it's halfway done. Drain and set it aside.Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place the cauliflower in a baking dish, drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast in the hot oven for 30 min or until it is tender but not falling apart.
