1 lb asparagus, cut in 1 inch segments

Here is how you make Asparagus and roasted tomato tart:

1. Place tomatoes on a rimmed cookie sheet or shallow baking dish. Bake at 200F for about 3 hours or until tomatoes have started to shrivel, but are not blackened.2. Place basil leaves, garlic and salt in a food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Add flour and mix on low speed. With processor still running, add in butter one tbsp at a time and continue running until there are no pieces larger than a pea. Slowly add water one tbsp at a time until a dough ball starts to form.Turn off food processor, form the dough into a ball, wrap tightly with saran and place in the fridge for 1 hour (or longer). Preheat oven to 350F. Remove dough from fridge and roll out on a floured surface. Place dough in a tart pan with a removable base or into a sprayed pie plate. Top with 1/2 the cheese, followed by all the asparagus and then the tomatoes. Top with remaining cheese and bake from 1 hour or until the crust is browned and the cheese is toasty and bubbling.
