How Do I Make Home Bottled Tomatoes (No Salt Added)?

Here is how you make Home Bottled Tomatoes (No Salt Added):

Line up 7 - 1 L (quart) mason jars on counter. To each add 2 tbsp. of the lemon juice. Put the clean lids in the canner, and fill the canner with 2-3 inches of water. Put on burner to just bring to simmer. Keep hot while you work with the tomatoes. Half fill a clean sink or basin with very cold water. Dip 3 or 4 tomatoes in a pot of rapidly boiling water for about 1 minute, or until the peel begins to split. Remove immediately to the sink of cold water. Gently peel the tomato (discard skin and any stems). Repeat this until all tomatoes are peeled and set aside. Cut the tomatoes into quarters (or leave whole). Boil the tomato juice and add the tomatoes just until they are heated through. Pack the tomatoes into the seven jars, pressing down gently, until the tomatoes and juice are 1/2 inch from the rim. Clean off any juice from the rims. Place the lids and screw the screwbands on top. Lay the filled bottles into the canner and put the lid on. Boil the canner on high heat for 10 minutes, without the weight on to let it vent. Put the 10 lb. weight on and reduce the heat so the weight just jiggles. Process for 25 minutes for both pint and quart jars. Turn off the burner, and allow canner to cool for about 1/2 hour, or until canner's lid comes off easily. Sit jars on counter over night to cool (careful they are very hot!), then wipe the jars and wash the screw bands. Label each jar and store in a cool, dark place. Makes 56 - 1/2 c. servings.
