1/2 Cup Chick Peas, mashed
1/4 Cup Black Beans, mashed
1 Cup Instant Mashed Potatoes, Dry
1 Tsp Mrs. Dash Extra Spicy
1 Tsp Season Salt
1 Tsp Garlic Powder


How Do I Make Spicy Veggie Burgers?

Here is how you make Spicy Veggie Burgers:

Makes 10 patties.Cook Lentils, Brown Rice in 1 Cup water for 40 min. Finely Chop vegtables and mash peas and beans while Rice and lentils are cooking. Pour rice/lentil mixture into a large glass bowl. let cool slightly. Add remaining ingredients and stir until very well mixed. Shape into 10 patties (it is sticky) Spray each side of burger with cooking oil. Cook in non stick skillet on medium heat for 8 minutes per side. The patties should be nicely browned. Eat immediately or store in freezer separated by waxed paper. (I take them for lunch using a wrap, lettuce and tomatoes. Yummy!Number of Servings: 10Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user LYONSLOIS.
