What Are The Ingredients For Loralee's Beef Stew Recipe?The ingredients for Loralee's Beef Stew are: 1 tsp. olive oil1 lb. beef, cut into bite-size dice 1 large onion, diced 1 celery rib, sliced 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 2 Tbsp. flour 2 tsp. tomato paste 1 cup fresh green beans, cut into about 1-inch pieces 4 cups chopped carrots 5 medium potatoes, scrubbed or peeled and diced 3 cups beef broth rosemary, to taste How Do I Make Loralee's Beef Stew?Here is how you make Loralee's Beef Stew: Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring, until well-browned. Remove beef from pan with a slotted spoon. Add onions and celery to pot and cook, stirring, until onions are translucent. Stir in flour and tomato paste. Add 2 cups water to the pot and stir until it begins to thicken.Return beef to the pot; add green beans, carrots, potatoes and beef broth (the broth should just cover all the meat and veggies. If not enough, add a little more and calculate nutrition info accordingly). Add rosemary, to taste. **Bring to boiling, then reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for about 1 hour, or until the veggies are tender.**Alternately, you could bring to boiling and then cover it and put it into a 325-degree oven. Let cook 2-3 hours.
