Here is how you make French Bread Pizza Bites:

Preheat oven to 450F. Slice bread in half horizontally; place cut side up on pan. Combine 1/4 cup olive oil and two cloves of pressed garlic. Brush oil mixture over cut sides of bread.Chop onion. Dice bell pepper. Add remaining 1 tsp oil to a pan and heat over medium-high heat 1-3 minutes or until shimmering. Add onion and pepper. Cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until onion is tender. Press remaining garlic into pan; cook 1-2 minutes or until fragrant. Combine onion mixture and drained tomatoes; mix well.Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on both halves of the bread.
