1 can reduced fat cream of mushroom soup;undiluted
1/2 19oz bag of frozen cheese tortellini
2 cups 1% milk
2 cups broccoli florets
2-3 medium carrots, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion
thyme
3 garlic cloves

How Do I Make Sausage Broccoli Chowder?

Here is how you make Sausage Broccoli Chowder:

In a small soup pot, begin to brown the sausage. I use turkey Italian sausage; it has the flavor of the regular stuff, but it has less fat and calories. I get either the Jenny-O or Turkey Store sweet Italian links, and just squeeze the meat out of the casing. I haven't been able to find it just ground up without the casing. After the meat has browned, add the half and half and milk. Season to taste with pepper, oregano, and thyme. Mix in garlic cloves, tortellini,mushroom soup, and vegetables.
