Here is how you make Ham and Cheese Corn Chowder:

Put water and vegetables (except corn) into stock pot with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer 8-10 minutes until vegetables are tender. remove from heat and do NOT drain. Melt butter in a saucepan and blend in flour. Add milk and cook on high until thick and bubbly. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Add to vegetables with corn and ham and heat.
