4 chicken breasts (skinless, boneless)
1 cup barley
2 chiles chopped (I use jalapenos or serrano)
1 Tbsp. oregano
1 onion chopped
1/2 cup cilantro
salt and pepper
2 cans garbanzo beans
1 Tbsp. cumin

grated jack cheese
limes
chopped jalapenos
chopped red onion
chopped tomatoes
sour cream

Here is how you make Field Camp No Bean White Chicken Chili:

Dice chicken. Poach chicken in broth for 1/2 hour (or until chicken cooked through). Add barley, onions, chopped chiles, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper. Cook 1/2 hour or so until barley is tender. Add can of corn, heat through. Mix in cilantro and serve with condiments.Good with cornbread. You can squeeze in a whole lime if desired.
