as I am poaching the chicken, I saute the onions, garlic, spinach & beans in a big soup pot. Then I add the chopped chicken & season to taste (usually just a bit of pepper). Then I add the chicken broth & bring to a boil. When the soup is boiling add the pasta, let boil about 4 min. & then turn down to simmer.
