4 lb. Chicken (roaster or fryer)
15 Cups water
2 Cans Light and Fat Free Chicken Broth
1 Tbs. Parsley
1 Sm. Bag of Carrots (chopped)
3 Stalks of Celery (chopped)
1 Sm. Onion (sliced or chopped)
Egg Noodles (any size)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Here is how you make Karens Chicken Soup:

Rinse chicken and place in stock pot. Add water, chicken broth, parsley, carrots, celery, onion, and salt and pepper. Cook about an hour or until chicken floats. Remove chicken to cool slightly and continue to simmer soup to soften the veggies. Once you can, remove the skin and then the meat from the chicken.I got about 1 lb. of chicken when i was done. Discard bones and skin. Add chicken back to soup and then bring back to a boil. Add your egg noodles and cook according to package. If you prefer, you can cook your noodles separately, but it isn't necessary. Skim some of the grease off of the top if you would like, salt and pepper to taste.
