Heat oil in a deep pot over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; saute 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add beans, season lightly with salt and pepper. Add beer and let reduce by half.Stir in broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, bbq sauce, and hot sauce. Reduce heat to medium low and simmer 10 minutes or until thickens.
