What Are The Ingredients For San Antonio Firehouse chili Recipe?

The ingredients for San Antonio Firehouse chili are:

Steep the kidney beans in water(just cover ) along with vinegar and olive oil(your choice of grade, add salt to taste,) for about 4 hours. Drain beans and refill large pot with water and after bringing beans to a rolling boil for about 15 minutes reduce heat to low and simmer for about an hour. Transfer to a crockpot.

brown the venison and venison brats (or ground venison) over a low flame along with the onion, until the onion becomes translucent and the meat is lightly done. Transfer to a crockpot.

Add 16 oz tomato sauce, diced tomatoes with chilis, Chipotle peppers in Adobo sauce(To taste but I have found about 4 is good) and water as needed to crockpot.

Cook over low setting for about 6-10 hours and serve hot. Usually you don't need to add hot sauce but this is perfectly ok if you like "flamethrower" chili.
