32 oz can of no salt added tomato juice
1/2 cup water
1 can diced or crushed tomatoes (for more spice get tomatoes with green chilies)
1 can tomato paste
1 pound ground lean turkey meat (for more spice use 1/2 pound sausage and 1/2 turkey--adds more fat)
2 cans of mushrooms
1 can chili beans
1/2 medium onion
noodles if desired
chili powder
garlic salt
onion powder
black pepper


How Do I Make Rasmussen Chili?

Here is how you make Rasmussen Chili:

Cut up half a white onion and cook with turkey until meat is browned. Drain grease.Stir tomato paste into meat and stir until meat is thoroughly covered. Add tomato juice, mushrooms, and beans. Stir until meat is broken up into mixture. Add spices to taste and noodles if desired (cook noodles first)Add water to thin out soup. Bring to boil and then let simmer a few minutes. Add your favorite beans or other ingredients to your chili if desired.
