4 bay leaves (removed when cooked)

Sauté all the raw chopped veggies on the stove as you combine all the other ingredients into a crock pot or on the stove. Add half of the Saute veggies so your veggies are cooked to two different levels, and after another couple of minutes or until the onions are transparent then add to pot or crock.
