How Do I Make K's Venison Chili? Here is how you make K's Venison Chili: 1. Brown ground venison and add seasonings of your choice (may add to sodium and calorie content).2. Meanwhile, chop onion and garlic finely. Drain and rinse beans.3. In large pot, begin heating tomato paste, onion, and garlic. At this point, add spices of your choice to taste.4. When the tomato paste has begun to heat up, gradually stir in beans. 5. Add beer gradually, to taste. The chili was a bit sweet at this point, so the beer helps to tone this down.6. After the ground venison has been drained, slowly add to mixture.7. Simmer for 20-30 minutes. Add water to thin out the chili to personal preference. I also use this period to play with the spices.Serves 5-6.**This recipe can be a bit heavy on sodium and may also be a bit high in calories for some people. To reduce sodium, use tomato paste without salt added and rinse the beans with tap water before adding to the pot.
