There are three parts - the meat, the sauce, the dumplingMeat:1. Blend 1/2 c. red onion & the 2 in. piece of ginger root in a bender2. Add meat and blended onion an ginger in bowl3. Add lots of salt and some pepper4. Use hands or a potato masher to mix meat mixture (you want it to look like a paste)5. Cover the meat mixture with aluminum foil. Set it aside.
