What Are The Ingredients For Pizza Recipe?

The ingredients for Pizza are:

DOUGH:
10 oz unbleached all purpose flour
1/2 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
6.2 oz water
1/4 cup olive oil

SAUCE:
14.5 oz crushed tomato/tomato puree (your choice)
1 large garlic clove -crushed
1 tbsp olive oil

I estimated that we used about 4 cups of shredded mozzarella.


How Do I Make Pizza?

Here is how you make Pizza:

Add flour, yeast, honey and salt into a bowl. Start the mixer and slowly add the water and then the olive oil after it looks a little like it's dough. Continue mixing until the dough looks like a ball. Then take the dough out, put it in a bowl and cover with saran wrap. Let it sit for at least an hour.To make the sauce you will take your pureed tomatoes and add your olive oil and garlic clove. Slowly let it simmer on the stove. You'll obviously use it later.Cut up whatever toppings you choose. The calories listed are only for a cheese pizza so you can add on your toppings one-by-one.When the hour is up take out your dough and flip it until it's thinner then place it on floured parchment paper. This amount of dough can make two "medium" sized pizzas or four perfect little individual pizzas. Then add your sauce, your cheese and whatever toppings you have. If you have a pizza board, put it in oven at 500 degrees on the lowest rack. We didn't, so we put half of the dough (one medium sized pizza) on a metal cookie sheet and then put it on the lowest rack for MAYBE five minutes. It cooked it too fast, so then for no more than five more minutes we had it on the top shelf. You want your cheese to be slightly golden on top. I assure you, it was DELICIOUS! Just watch it so you can know how you want your own pizza. No set times here!Keep in mind this is for a thin crust pizza, so if you put too much cheese or too many toppings on it your crust will be soggy. Cheese spreads out when it cooks so no need to have an inch of cheese completely covering this otherwise you'll have soggy dough and cheese leaking onto the bottom of your oven!Number of Servings: 4Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CRISHIE2.
