In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat saute onion, green pepper, jalapeno, celery and garlic for 3 minutes. Cover and cook low for 5-10 min or till soft.Drain and rinse beans. You can puree one can to make soup thicker or not. Add all to sauce pan stir in beer, cumin, cayenne and tomato paste.bring to a simmer over medium-high heat. Cook uncovered 10 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
