Soak the beans overnight in water. Cook the beans on the chix stock. Once they are tender strain off the stock and save both. In a food processor puree 1/2 of the beans. In a stock pot saute the onion and the bacon. Return all the beans and stock to pot. Add all other ingredients and simmer for approx 2 hours stirring frequently. Taste for seasoning and serve.
