makes 8 1 cup servingsFirst saute the sausage - don't need too much. Then drain and set sausage asideSaute diced vegetables in the olive oil, add garlic for a few moments before adding liquids. You want the vegetables to soft enough to eat. Then add all liquids, beans and spices (those should be whatever flavors you like sometimes we add cayenne, pepper and some thyme others we add oregano, thyme, rosemary, pepper and some basil). Bring to a boil, then simmer for about an hour but it can go for a couple without any worries. Boil the pasta then add at last minute.
