1 Whole Box Container of low sodium Chicken Broth (I use Swanson)
3-4 Red Potatoes
1/2 White Onion
2 cups Fresh Spinach (or Kale)
2 tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Garlic Cloves


How Do I Make Italian Sauage Soup?

Here is how you make Italian Sauage Soup:

Combine entire box of Chicken Broth with 2 tbsp of Heavy Whipping Cream and set to low. Remove Italian sausage from casing and add to skillet, brown, crumbling the meat as you cook. Move Sausage to the rim of the pan and add onion and thinly sliced garlic to the center, sauteing until slightly translucent. Cut potatoes into quarters then into 1/4' slices. Add above ingredients to pot and simmer for at least 20 minutes on low to medium. I prefer to stay on low and simmer for at least 60 minutes as it adds to the flavor. Stir occasionally. The cream will sometimes rise to surface, this okay. You want your soup to have a yellowish, milk hue. Add raw spinach 5 minutes before servings.
