3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

8 cups chopped Kale

Here is how you make Souped Up Butternut Squash Soup:

Heat a large pot on medium to medium high and add olive oil. Saute chopped onions, carrots, and celery in the olive oil. Cook for 15 minutes. Add a box of Imagine Butternut Squash Soup and 1 chopped apple. Cook until vegetables and apple are tender. Puree in pot with a hand blender. Add seasonings. Add chopped kale, cover and let simmer on low until kale starts to wilt. Stir and recover pot and cook until kale is tender. You can either enjoy it with the kale leaves as is, or you can run the hand blender through the soup to make the kale leaves smaller or thoroughly pureed.
