1/4 head cabbage, chopped

Salt and pepper to tenderize cabbage/onion
1/2 stick butter (1/4 c.)

Here is how you make Not-So-Vegetable Soup:

1. Chop up the cabbage and onion, then place in a medium-large soup pot. Add just enough water to cover the vegetables, and boil, adding salt and pepper to tenderize. Do not drain!2. (Optional step) While this is boiling, brown the meat, then add to the cabbage/onion mixture.3. Add diced tomatoes, Veg-All, butter and condensed tomato soup. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, making sure to stir occasionally.4. Your soup is now finished! Keep the pot on the stove, making sure that the eye is on its lowest setting to keep the soup warm.
