1 tsp. Flour

6 tbsp. Country Crock, Shedd's Spread Country Crock


How Do I Make Spinach-Feta Triangles?

Here is how you make Spinach-Feta Triangles:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Thaw phyllo according to package directions. Keep phyllo covered with plastic wrap or a damp kitchen towel to prevent drying.2. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons margarine over medium heat. Add shallot; cook and stir 1 minute. Add spinach: cook 1 minute or until spinach wilts. Transfer to a sieve; press out excess liquid; set aside.3. In a food processor combine spinach, garlic pepper, nutmeg, egg yolk, flour and feta; pulse 4 to 6 times until combined. Set aside.4. Lightly brush 1 phyllo sheet with melted butter; top with another phyllo sheet. Cut layered sheets lengthwise into 3 strips.5. Place 1 scant tablespoon of spinach filling in lower corner on each strip. Fold the bottom corner of the dough over the filling to the opposite edge, forming a triangle. Fold triangle up, then fold over, forming another triangle. Continue folding, like a flag, to the end of the strip. Brush the end with melted butter and press onto the triangle to seal. Turn the triangle and brush the top lightly with margarine. Place brushed side up on a baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining dough strips and remaining phyllo sheets for 18 triangles.6. Place baking sheet in oven. Bake 15 to 17 minutes or until golden brown.
