1 tsp red pepper flakes, or to taste

Pat dry scallops so they will sear nicelyCombine mayonnaise, pesto, zest of 1/2 lime, juice of 1 lime, salt and pepper and set asideIn a small skillet, brown bread crumbs in butter and set asideHeat large skillet to sear scallopsAdd 1 T of olive oil to pan.Sear scallops, about 2-3 minutes per side. Add the other T of oil as needed. (Do not over crowd pan or scallops will steam instead.)In saute pan, add 1 T of olive oil. Add garlic and red pepper flakes.
