What Are The Ingredients For Suzie's Seafood Stew Recipe?The ingredients for Suzie's Seafood Stew are: 8 oz. of evaporated canned milk non-fat or light8 oz. of cold water 2 Tbsp. of light margarine or, soya spread if available 1 tsp. of ground black pepper 1 med. onion chopped 2 small potatoes chopped 1 slice raw bacon 3 oz. each of salmon, scallops, shrimp How Do I Make Suzie's Seafood Stew?Here is how you make Suzie's Seafood Stew: Saute in small frying pan the chopped onion with 1 slice of raw bacon to add flavor and 1 Tbsp. of light margarine or soya spread until onion is clear. In a 2 qt. saucepan, add the cold water and chopped bite size potatoes and cook until just fork tender. To this add the cooked onion and bacon slice, then add the salmon which you can buy fresh or frozen, and the scallops. Cook on low-medium heat gently stirring and flaking the salmon into chunks as it cooks. Approximately 5-10 min. Add the pre-cooked shrimp (along with any juice that may be in the pkg.) which you can buy in the fresh fish isle or fish dept. of your grocery store. Stirring gently for another 5 min. or so. At this point you will add the canned evaporated milk, the remaining 1 Tbsp. of light margarine, and the 1 tsp. of ground black pepper to taste. Cook over low heat for another 5-7 min., stirring and not letting come to a boil. This can be turned off and gently reheated if necessary or even put in the microwave and heated for about 1 min. or so.This recipe makes about 4 small bowlfuls or 5-6 1 cup servings.
